Lincoln von Lambs is a wonderful 4-5 year old German Shepherd mix. Sweet Lincoln is the cutest munchkin we have ever met, but he prefers to be known for his equally amazing personality. Having grown out of the puppy phase, Lincoln is just the perfect gentleman who seems to know how to behave in every situation. Lincoln exits his kennel calmly (quite a feat at the shelter) and introduces himself politely to the lucky volunteer who asks to walk him. He is great on leash although, from time to time he prefers to peak out at the world from between your knees. Lincoln is so tolerant that he even walks well next to a dog who reacted to him. Our mellow-to-medium energy boy has captured the hearts of our kennel workers and volunteers alike and often gets special treatment -- like going to the nearby park to get an extra hour of cuddling (since he enjoys it so!). He just loves to lay his head on your lap while your pet him and is so appreciative of every little thing. In his playgroup, Lincoln makes us love him even more by showing us how loving and tolerant he is. He prefers to hang out by his humans and watch the dogs romp around, and we love having him right by our side! This easy-going boy with the heart of gold hopes that someone will ask to take him home soon. Whoever that is will feel like they won the doggy lottery.
