Lobo von Merrill is a stunning 12 month old black sable German Shepherd. Not only is he handsome but he is a sweetheart at the same time. He loves people and actually likes giving you hugs with his legs wrapped around your shoulders. Sable shepherds are very popular in law enforcement because of their intelligence, solid built and work drive. Lobo is wonderful with all dogs and shared the back seat of a small car with Dieter, another shepherd he was rescued with. Our volunteer who rescued him has a black sable shepherd herself and is just in love with Lobo. He needs to gain a few pounds, but other than that, he is model-perfect! If you decide to adopt Lobo, get ready for many admiring looks and compliments from people on the beautiful dog by your side!
