Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Lola von Bean is an elegant 2 year old German Shepherd. Lola is on the larger side for a female and she has the body of a model or a dancer (which is why we gave her the stage name Lola; her original name was Laurie von Liebstadt.) She is so exquisite but even better is her gentle temperament. Lola met a cat who was tired of meeting German Shepherds and when the cat hissed, Lola apologetically retreated. She met a small white fluffy dog and was also fine. She is in a play group with an assortment of dogs of all different sizes. One of the volunteers with a training background worked with Lola and was so impressed with her focus while in the middle of an adoption event with many distractions. Lola is smart and quick to learn. She is already very easy on the leash and, given the slightest correction, she is immediately right by your side again. Lola would be a great choice for someone looking for an easy dog to adopt, but also a good choice for someone interested in training since she is so accommodating. Almost anyone could feel like a world renown trainer! She loves to go for walks but then can settle down inside. She is a charmer with the canine set too, even big alpha males are okay with her. She will go right over and curl up next to them. Lola likes to play ball and she also rides well in the car. At a Fox network get together, she made quite a stir, everyone thought she was destined for the movies.
