Lottie von Lohren is a gorgeous 8-9 month old Shepherd mixed with maybe Husky. Lottie has the most striking bi-colored eyes and, in a short week, has already became a volunteer favorite here at Westside. Sweetie-pie Lottie is shy when exiting her kennel but lights up and flashes us the cutest smiles when she relaxes. Lottie zigzags on leash and, although she doesn’t pull, could use some leash training to not trip you up. She loves to explore the neighborhood as part of the pack and our kennel workers call her Westside’s Sweetheart. When stopping to catch a breath, Lottie invites you to cuddle with her and will shower you with wet, puppy kisses. She doesn’t beg for attention but is so appreciative of any. She is submissive to humans and sometimes other dogs, and very obedient and eager to please. At her young age, there is so much more that she can (and wants to) learn! In playgroups, Lottie scored an B+, where she meets some dogs politely and sniffs others for a few seconds too long. Once she gets comfortable, she even shows her playful side and can be a little pushy when inviting dogs to play. Lottie LOVES the kiddie pool and will splash around by herself for hours. Our entertaining, spunky girl dreams of a home with lots of love, kisses, belly rubs and water to splash around in.
