Maile von Maienfeld is an adorable 10 week old German Shepherd mix puppy.  Maile (pronounced My-Lee) was named after a Hawaiian plant that blooms a small delicate flower, which she is.  We do know she is very sweet and deserving. She was one of the lucky ones who got to leave the very crowded Bakersfield Shelter in one of our transports.  She is shy at first, but quickly bonds with her owner and loves to be cuddled.  She is very eager to please and can sit, lay down, roll over, play dead and high five on command and loves to play fetch.  She is house broken and is very good about sleeping through the night in her crate.  She is very sweet and gentle would be great with any family, and especially those with children or seniors.  Maile is in a foster home with three other dogs.
