Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Maverick von Marsten is an adorable 12 month old Shepherd mix. This medium-sized cutie with a heart as big as a whale is ready to be your bestie. He can be a little shy at first, but he knows a good soul when he sees one and warms up quickly. He walks great on leash, sticking close to make sure you are both in it together. Maverick is such a sweet boy that, despite his short time at the rescue, he’s been allowed to hang out in the office. He seems to love everyone. He has a medium energy level and a loving, easygoing personality. He’s does well around other dogs. A little shy at first with them as well, he doesn't look for trouble but prefers to settle back, watch the action and hang out by you. (We heard that he could be playful with other dogs in a prior home, and that he liked to collect various small items but didn't chew them.) Maverick is the type of sweet boy who will fit well in many homes, although he perfers to go to one that is feline free. He’s been approved for travel and would like us to tell you that he’s doing well on the housebreaking thing.
