Maverick von Mauel is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd. His bright eyes and lovely heart-shaped mask add to his classic good looks. Blessed with a good level of energy, he is ready for anything and is sweet when he knows you. He wants an owner who will keep up on his leash training around other dogs. He enjoys hanging with other easygoing canine buddies and does well on group walks. In playgroups, he does even better off-leash, he ignores hyper dogs and is eager to please his person. He lived with Missy in his previous home; they would love to stay together but are also available separately.  We were told that he was good alone in the yard and knows sit, stay, and come. Good Boy! Maverick is  ready to thrive in a local home or happy to explore a new state.
