Max von Magnus is a gorgeous 3 year old German Shepherd. Typical of his breed, this 103-pound handsome hunk took good care of his previous family, always watching out for them but not interfering unless he thought something was wrong. Max was so respectful and obedient that even the 4-year-old little boy in the family could tell Max “no” and Max would comply. Max was worried when the 4 year old went on the trampoline and he would bark his concern. In the house he was quiet and liked to socialize with the other dogs in the family, including one that was a little Dachshund. He also liked hang out in the kitchen, knowing that he would be given an occasional treat or hoping that a tasty morsel might fall from the counter to the floor. Max is great in the house -- housebroken, obedience trained, loving and wonderful. Max once lived on two acres on the East Coast but is equally happy as a California boy. He would love a home that includes someone who is home most of the day, plus a child or another dog. Max is at our kennel, waiting for another family to watch out for and cherish!
