Maximus von Marxzell is a beautiful 18 month old German Shepherd. This darling boy with the soulful eyes and soft ears is quite the cuddler. Maximus is a very loving boy who is always looking for affection. He could stay at your side getting head scratches for hours.  He has an easygoing personality and energy level. He walks well on leash and, even on your walks, he will return to you for reassuring ear rubs. Around other dogs, he does great off leash. He does like his space, especially when on leash, and prefers to walk away from any scrums in the play yard.   Before arriving at Westside, he lived with a family and has experience being around children.  They began to teach him manners, so he knows how to sit and will even give you his paw.  Maximus is eagerly awaiting a new home to bring lots of love and protection, and a family who will continue to bring out his best.
