Midnite von Nachten (aka Pilot) is a handsome 7 year old German Shepherd mixed with something slightly smaller. Easy-going and calm, Midnite walks “super well” on leash, happy to be exploring his surroundings and meeting new people who happen to be passing by. He savors human attention, especially head rubs that make him close his eyes in complete relaxation. He likes to hang out with the volunteers in our office, sniffing the floors and occasionally finding an overlooked treat. Eventually Midnite lies on his doggie bed and observes whatever else might be going on. He likes other dogs who are mellow like him. This boy will be a wonderful companion in any family, whether in a house, condo or apartment – plus a perfect dog to take to work if so choose.
