Mike von Miellen is a striking looking 2 year old Shepherd mix. The first thing you notice about Mike is his unique look with that white blaze extended across his face. The second thing you notice about him is his sweet personality. This fellow wants to please and he wants you to know that there isn't a spot on his golden-blond body that cannot be petted.  He knows his sit and gives paw and takes treats gently. He walks well on a leash. At the outset he may be so excited that he is bouncing with joy. Mike would love to have another dog (or two) in his forever home.  At the rescue he is thrilled to be walking with other dogs and, even leashed, may ask if they want to play a bit.  In play groups he is simply the happiest pup in the yard. Everything is just great: the opportunity to explore new territory, the presence of lots of new playmates, a pool to play in, and people to pet him all over. He is very friendly and social, but even social butterflies have their limits: Mike is not a fan of cats.
