Opal von Owen is a stunning 1-2 year old smaller sized German Shepherd. (mix?) Opal is one strikingly-beautiful bicolor girl who will turn heads in the neighborhood.  With medium energy, she comes out of her kennel happy and ready to walk and likes to stay close to your side while she stops and smells the roses.  She does great walking with other dogs and greets them calmly.  In the playground, thus far she prefers to hang out and watch from the sidelines but will socialize if other dogs approach her. After a while, she heads over to people for pets and will lean on your leg for back scratches and belly rubs. She is very treat-motivated and will show off her “sit” for treats, which she takes gently from your hand. We are told that Opal is good with kids but no cats for this pup. At around 57 pounds, she is the perfect size to sit in your lap (or so she thinks) and get pets while you watch TV.
