Osito von Oberau is a very handsome 5 year old Shepherd mix. Per his own words, "Hi, my name is Osito! Did you know that means "bear" or "cute guy" in Spanish, both of which I am? If you ever see me, I am either playing with another friendly dog, kissing a volunteer or sitting nicely for treats. I am mid energy and always smiling from ear to ear and wagging my tail hard. My friends at the rescue don't understand why I haven't gone home yet and, honestly, neither do I. I mean, I walk great on leash, play with dogs of ALL SIZES at playgroups all day (I am boarding at a daycare place!) and the staff are smitten with me. I love to snuggle; I love inviting my four -legged friends to play; and I am good at staying out of trouble! I came from a family who left me and my sister in an animal shelter. My sister was adopted, I really loved her and watched out for her. I’m would be so happy to take care of a new sister! I am shy for maybe three seconds when you first meet me but soon I am greeting you like the best of friends (chicken treats can really expedite the process). I also ride well in the car and am super housebroken. I really like to be with my people so, if you work from home or can take me everywhere, I hope you will fill out an application for me! I promise to be your devoted friend for life!"
