Penelope von Churwalden is a wonderful 3 ½ month old German Shepherd mix.  Penelope looks like a sable German Shepherd but has a finer bone structure. She looks like she will be tall but will not have such a heavy build as a full German Shepherd. She is a super wonderful puppy, she is very smart, focused, loving but not quite the intensity of a full German Shepherd. She would be a wonderful choice for a young family; she is not a mouthy girl, she pretty much is just happy to carry her duck around. She would be happiest in a family with another dog. Her foster canine brother will put her whole head in his mouth, which she loves.  Penelope thinks she is a lap dog and loves to be held. She loves attention but is happy just to hang out while you do whatever you have to do. She knows sit and is learning her other commands. She is perfecting her housebreaking but she is getting the concept. Her foster mom has fostered many puppies; she says Penelope is one of the most undemanding puppies ever. Her foster dad always asks her what she has to be so happy about, then her tail wags her whole body! She is such a little jewel!!
