Rita von Rietberg is a wonderful 12 month old German Shepherd. Rita is eligible for adoption in or out of state. She is a loving and soulful dog who gets along well with other dogs and with all people. On leash, Rita exits the kennel calmly and walks like a lady with other dogs.  In playgroups, her relaxed and pleasant demeanor makes her a standout! She doesn’t react to the pushier, bolder types, but lets them be themselves, even if a puppy barrels right over her. Human affection is what Rita longs for; she basks joyfully in the glow of loving people. She is easygoing and takes life as it is, with a joyful heart. We were going to list Rita’s shortcomings, but we came up blank (other than not being a fan of cats).  If your home is welcoming to large furry love bugs, Rita is ready to meet you today.
