River von Riol is a gorgeous 11 month old Shepherd mix. Cutie pie River is a mid-energy sweetheart who is curious, happy and fun. From walks to playgroups and everything in between, River is an outgoing and fun-loving boy.  He starts his walks in bouncy mode but, once his initial energy is lessened, he responds to the “heel” command; smart boy that he is, he also responds to “sit,” “stay” and “down.”   River is still a pup and can be very playful, especially off the leash in play group, which can be a bit much for some other dogs, so he would be best matched with another similarly playful pup; he’s even compatible with small dogs.  River is good with children, housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door.  River is in search of a forever friend or family, either in or out of state, who will share in his enjoyment of life.
