Rose von Riesen is wonderful 3-4 year old smaller sized Shepherd mix. Our little redhead with the floppy ears is probably the cutest girl you’ll ever meet. Rose has the most endearing smile, but our brave girl is anxious and confused in the noisy kennels. She exits her kennel worriedly but, after a few blocks away from the kennel, she begins to relax and actually enjoys being out in the sun. She does not meet pushy high-energy dogs well but will walk (extremely well, we might add) next to an easy-going dog. Rose really wants to please her people and listens very well to corrections. She loves to be reassured when she feels anxious and yearns to be part of a family who will help her blossom into the happy girl she wants to be. Rose enters playgroups confidently and almost seems a little pushy about saying hi. She is more of an observer and does not like to tumble in the dirt with the other dogs (after all, it isn’t easy to look this good). Rose looks up eagerly every time someone comes into the kennels, hoping that they are unlocking her door to take her home. Would you like to make her dreams come true?
