Ruby von Ruhla is a gorgeous 4 year old German Shepherd of medium energy who behaves like a lady on leash. She meets new people politely and minds her manners when meeting up with other dogs. At an ideal age where puppy mischievousness is a thing of the past, Ruby is a gentle, mellow girl who is charming our kennel techs on a daily basis. She hasn’t quite figured out why her family gave her up (together with her buddy Kaiser) but she is trying her hardest to acclimate to the noise and activity that prevails in a rescue facility. Ruby enjoys receiving affection and will return your caresses with gentle kisses. In playgroups she meets other dogs well and then opts to hang out with Kaiser and her humans. This lovely lady does best around dogs that show her the same type of stately manners, as she does not appreciate pushy or spastic types. Ruby is a happy girl and is the happiest around her partner, Kaiser. We hope that the home that makes Ruby’s day by adopting her gives her a life with Kaiser as well.
