Ruger von Rims is a beautiful 14 month old German Shepherd. This sweet boy with the bright eyes has been stealing hearts ever since he arrived at Westside. Kennel staff, vet techs, volunteers -- they all just fell for his sweet puppy personality. Now in a foster home, Ruger has settled into a busy life with lots of walks, games of fetch and belly rubs. His foster parents are impressed at what a fast learner Ruger is. He walks wonderfully on a loose leash. He learned "Sit" "Down" and "Look,” accepts correction well and is always looking to you for leadership. Ruger attends doggie daycare (they love him there too) and enjoys the company of friendly dogs who match his kind spirit and love of romping. Ruger's ideal home would be a place where the squeaky kong balls are plentiful and there is a fellow pup to keep him entertained and help his confidence grow. Being a young boy, Ruger can get mouthy when playful, so he best suited for a home with no small children. Ruger is housebroken and crate trained, and will be an attentive student for a family with shepherd experience or an active home that is eager to teach him things. This boy is ready to be all yours.
