Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Ryu von Runkel is a beautiful 14-month-old, smaller-sized German Shepherd. This young boy is still learning how to navigate his way through life. He looks to his humans for guidance and encouragement, and takes time to adjust to new things and places. Ryu comes out of his shell bit by bit. He is still getting used to meeting other dogs and learning more about who they are, so right now he tends to stick to himself, but we’re socializing him more and more each day. One of Ryu’s favorite things is when you sit down next to him and pet him nicely. He relaxes and settles down wherever he is. Our handsome Ryu is searching for someone who can continue to help build his confidence both in himself and with other dogs around him. While he may be somewhat cautious now, we know that, with the right person, he will blossom into an even more incredible doggy.
