Sammy von Salzkotten is a beautiful 4-5 year old German Shepherd. Sammy has everyone’s favorite qualities in a canine: gentle, friendly and sociable. He’s quite calm, seems well-behaved and doesn’t have too much energy, but likes his walks all the same and is okay on a leash.  While he may seem a little shy or independent, once he knows you he comes up for some attention and petting.  He also does very well around other dogs, meeting them in a curious but calm manner, but his absolute favorite is his best buddy Sargento.  Sammy would love to find a home with Sargento, but he is also available separately.  We were told he lived with cats in his prior home too.
