Sawyer von Soden is a wonderful 18 month old Shepherd mix who likes to be everyone’s friend. With a great disposition and medium energy, he revels in being petted from head to tail and will lean into you to show his appreciation. He is easy to handle on leash, very social and completely comfortable in his surroundings, wagging his tail throughout the walk. This confident guy likes to flirt with our female dogs, showing off and giving them all kinds of attention. However, when we introduce a male dog into his playgroup, he stiffens up and gives off some bully “attitude,” so this ladies’ man should not be homed with another male dog. Sawyer has been known to jump a fence or two, so an apartment or condo environment where he will be on leash during his outings would be ideal for him. Otherwise, he needs to be supervised when he is in your back yard.
