With a medium-to-high energy level, Schultz is an independent boy who walks confidently on the leash. He seems very comfortable in most surroundings and doesn’t look for or cause any trouble around other dogs. Schultz has a nice calm demeanor. At home he can laze about by himself and enjoys exploring the yard while you garden. In playgroups, Schultz prefers to steer clear of pushy types, preferring the friendly, playful dogs. If one plays too roughly with him, he will react. After a play session, he often comes up to you to ask for ear rubs.
