Scout von Salvisberg is an adorable 7 month old German Shepherd. Scout is all about love, he just wants to cuddle and be friends. We tried to get the usual standard photos of him, but that wasn’t happening. He just wanted to roll for belly rubs or snuggle with the volunteer. Even grumpy dogs figure out fast too, that Scout doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Scout had a collar on him that looked like maybe his former owner wanted him to be a guard dog, what a laugh that would be. Scout is one of those dogs that the volunteers start thinking about who we owe a favor too, he is one of those dogs. He is a total gift to the right family who wants him for the right reasons.

Foster mom update:
Scout is housebroken and has very nice manners. He knows his basic commands and is alert and eager to please. He's great with his foster brothers and sisters and will make a great addition to any family as long as there are no kitties in the home.
