Shasta von Salzen is a beautiful 8-9 year old German Shepherd. Like a fine wine, she has gotten better with age. She has the gentlest temperament, rarely barks and gets along exceedingly well with everyone she meets. She currently lives with her foster mom's cat and has been nothing but patient with him as he gets used to such a big girl as herself. Housebroken and easy to walk on a leash, her favorite thing to do is take long strolls and explore at her own pace. Shasta does get a little nervous around other dogs, but only because she's a lady who needs a proper introduction. Adaptable and attentive, Shasta would be ideal for almost any family and will be forever grateful if you welcome her into your heart.
