Skye von Simmern is a beautiful 14 month old Shepherd mix. Per her own words, “Hi, my name is Skye! I have been at Westside for a long time now, and while I love my foster mum, I don’t understand why no one ever asks to meet me. Maybe it’s because I don’t have the look that everyone wants? But I do make up for it with my extra-large ears! My foster mum has four dogs of her own and three fosters, and I get right along with everyone, although foster mum says I need to learn not to pull their tails. But the other dogs don’t seem to mind! When she brings a new dog home I am usually the first one at the door to say hi. My favorite activity is anything that involves birds: I love watching them, circling them, and definitely chasing them. Foster mum says she hasn’t seen birds in her back yard since she brought me home! I also really like going on car rides and I ride very well in the car with my big ears touching the roof - I just love going anywhere with you. Because I am still very puppy, I will need to be crated or monitored, since I like to do things like steal your shoes. I can also be mouthy so no little kids for now (even though I do adore them!) Probably no cats either since I like to chase birds. With some puppy training, I will be the best dog you’ll ever meet. I am already housebroken too! Won’t you fill out an application for me?"
