Stoltz von Stuttgart is a handsome 5 year old German Shepherd. Stoltz has the straighter back and the bigger bone structure of the German imports. Stoltz was so confused by his long wait at the shelter for his family, he didn't eat as he should have. German Shepherds are often so sensitive, Stoltz already knows life is getting better and he will add the needed pounds back on. Stoltz was housed with other dogs at the shelter and did well even in a small confined area with other males. They probably helped themselves to his food. When he arrived to the safety of our facility, he was such a gentleman. He wagged his tail and kindly greeted his new rescue siblings. He has the personality of a mature red wine; mellow and likeable with a smooth finish. He possesses wonderful shepherd qualities (like checking back with you while walking) He takes treats gently. He jumped right the car and tried to get back in at every opportunity! He will gladly accompany you on any trip or errands you need to do! He is easy to walk on the leash and is well behaved in public. Stoltz's winning combination of regal looks and congeniality will make him the pride of any household.
