Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Tarzan von Altefrau is a large, handsome looking 6 year old German Shepherd. He is a very well bred dog and he has a very regal presence about him. His owner died and she had provided for him in her will. What she had planned for Tarzan was to be euthanized, instead of giving a donation to a rescue group to help find him a home. Fortunately, Dr. Simon from L.A. Central Animal Hospital talked the grand daughter out of having such a wonderful dog euthanized. Tarzan is very people oriented and is a friendly dog. He walks well on the leash and seems to have some training . He is used to love and attention and he is not doing well in a boarding kennel. We would love a permanent home for Tarzan or a foster home, but no kitties please!
