Thunder von Tolsen is a very handsome 2-3 year old German Shepherd. His pictures suggest that he could be a professional model for canine photo ops. And when he’s out on his walk, he’s a model citizen. Thunder walks great on the leash, never pulls or gets too far ahead. Walking alongside another dog, he does well and doesn’t let anything faze him. A mid-energy pup, Thunder is an easy-going boy who doesn’t demand much but rather is satisfied with a daily walk and some cuddle time with his people. He is quite affectionate with his people and just wants to please you; he readily responds to correction. Thunder does well in playgroups. Like many dogs, he sometimes will initially react to high-energy dogs but he eventually just goes about his business and is quite tolerant of a variety of personality types. Thunder is a smart boy; he’s possibly housebroken and his favorite sport is playing ball with you: you throw and he catches – and brings it back to you. With his smarts and personality, Thunder will quickly integrate into a family. His high drive also suggests he will make a good working dog – doing scent work, agility competitions, etc. – who needs an experienced owner who will know how to channel Thunder’s energy so that his sole focus is not on overly-protecting his owner.
