Wanda von Wiesbaden is a striking looking 18 month old German Shepherd. She is one of the most stunning dogs we have right now, her dark face and beautiful brown eyes are just amazing. Wanda is one of those dogs that's eager to learn, to go for long walks, have many fun things to do. One of our junior volunteers and his mom spent most of the day with her and couldn't get over what a nice dog she was. Like any young shepherd, she will benefit from some training but she has her sit command down, especially with a treat in front of her nose. She does well with other dogs and shares her run with another shepherd. There are many people who are a bit wary of dark faced dogs because they think they're scary looking. We think they're just gorgeous and what better way to keep people away from you and feel safe than having a scary looking (but oh so sweet) shepherd by your side?
