Zander von Zurich is the most stunning 10 month old coated German shepherd.   His coat is unbelievable; someone took beautiful care of him. His original name was Kierkegaard, named after a philosopher we gather. Maybe he belonged to students, maybe he got too big for someone, it is just hard to understand how he could end up in a county shelter. Zander is a typical teenage boy, he thinks he is tough stuff until someone lets him know what is expected, then he is well behaved and either knows all his commands or learned them super quickly. He shares a run with another dog at the kennel and goes out in the play group with other dogs. He is big boned, but not super tall, we would imagine he will be around 85 pounds when full grown.
