Zuma von Zimmerman is a beautiful 3 year old classic German Shepherd. Zuma has been well taken care of and is in good shape. Kuma’s family had to move.  They searched for a new residence that would allow them to keep Kuma.  They had secured a new home and when they arrived were told that Kuma would not be allowed. They were devastated and had to turn her into a shelter.  They begged the shelter to let them know if she became in danger and to please let everyone know what a sweet dog she is. A shelter volunteer who loves shepherds took an interest in her and fell in love with her.  She thought Kuma was wonderful and got along with the female dogs she was placed with.  She contacted the family and found out that she is great with all other animals and loves children of all ages. The shelter volunteer then contacted us and asked that we take her. Kuma is a special girl who would love to have a family again. She told us she would especially love to be placed with a family who has children and if they had another canine companion for company, that would be perfect!
